join our conversationsVirtual Conversations ForumAs part of the development of the new policy on architecture, the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and the Irish Architecture Foundation embarked on a public consultation process. By delivering 8 workshops with groups before drafting of the policy began, this helped inform the development of the policy. The first stage of this process was Conversations about Architecture and the Built Environment which took the form of eight facilitated public meetings around the country. People who joined one of our Conversations, had a look at the document 'Before our Conversation'. This outlined the background to the policy and posed some questions for attendees to consider. For those unable to attend the meetings, they had the opportunity to join our Conversations online. On this page they found a link to a forum where they could respond to the questions posed at Conversations about Architecture and the Built Environment. This forum is now closed. Key themes and issues raised at each meeting were posted on this site as they became available. | |
