The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and the Irish Architecture Foundation engaged in a series of eight nation-wide, public meetings called Conversations about Architecture and the Built Environment. They took place during May and June 2008.
These meetings and this web site were an opportunity for you to contribute to the discussion about the built environment which influenced the development of the Government's new architecture policy.We wanted to give you the chance to consider the built environment - to look at it, talk about it and by demanding better standards, improve it. Your participation in the Conversations added value and content to the policy.
